Relatives of the damselfish, these fish are also called Clownfishes due to their vivid color.Anemones. Anemonefish have a special skin mucus which allows them to live within the tentacles of an anemone. These tentacles would kill other fish with the slightest touch.

Habitat/Range
The Indo-West Pacific, from the Red Sea to the Central Pacific, but not at Hawaii, Easter Island, or other Eastern Pacific Islands.

Larger fish, Invertebrates, and Humans
Reproduction
The female lays eggs in a nest built by the male. The male cares for the eggs, and will eat any that are fungused or not fertilized. Incubation lasts 7-8 days.
Conservation
THREATENED
Consequences of human activities, such as runoff from agriculture and overfishing, threaten the habitat of all coral reef animals.
