Flamingos hold their head upside down and sweep it from side to side in the water, filtering out plankton.

Salt lakes, estuaries, and lagoons of Africa, southern Europe, the Middle East, and India

Brine shrimp and other aquatic invertebrates

Foxes, Wild cats, Eagles, and Storks
Reproduction
Flamingos often nest in colonies with tens of thousands of birds. The chick is fed a milklike substance secreted from the stomachs of its parents.
