Please join the Detroit Zoo and Visiting Nurses Association in preventing the flu this season with Shoo the Flu at the Zoo on Wednesday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Flu and Pneumonia shots will be available for adults and children 6 months and older. Flu shots are $25 and Pneumonia shots are $40. Medicare Part B, HAP, Priority Health, cash or check will be accepted. Insurance cards are required at the time of vaccination. Checks should be made out to Visiting Nurses Association.
Immunizations will take place in the Membership Tent at the front of the Zoo.
Parking is free for this event, but regular Zoo admission fees apply if visiting the Zoo afterwards.
