| On Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., children are invited to bring their teddy bears to the Zoo for
special bear activities, including arts & crafts, storytelling, costumed characters and bear enrichment! The Teddy Bear Hospital will be
seeing “patients” all day. Nurses from William Beaumont Hospital will be on hand to perform check-ups on all of
the Teddy Bear patients. Teddy Bear Day coincides with National Bear Awareness Week, which takes place from May 13 - 19.  |
