The Detroit Zoo will feature the Kris Johnson Group on August 9, 2009, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Belle Isle Nature Zoo. The Kris Johnson Group features a lineup of some of metro Detroit’s finest young jazz musicians. The jazz performance will take place outdoors on the grounds of the Belle Isle Nature Zoo. Pack your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets for a Sunday afternoon of jazz on Belle Isle.
