The Proposal

 

  • A 0.10 of a mill property tax in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne county.
  • On the August 2008 ballot
  • Will provide stable funding for annual Zoo operations and maintenance beginning early 2009
  • Cost to the average owner of a $200,000 home about $10 per year.
