Becoming a Detroit Zoological Society member has never been easier!
1.  Now you can renew/join online at our secure site.
2.  You can take advantage of your member benefits immediately.
     (You will receive a confirmation email that will serve as a temporary card until you receive your permanent cards in the mail.)
3.  Gift memberships can also be purchased and sent directly to the gift recipient.

Membership Benefits
A Detroit Zoo membership is the best value around! Your annual pass allows you unlimited FREE admission and parking for one year. Your Zoo membership supports our direct involvement in local, national and international conservation programs to save endangered species.

Plus, your membership also supports our efforts to rescue hundreds of abused and abandoned animals each year - from a black bear cub orphaned in northern Michigan to one of our most publicized rescues: Bärle, a female polar bear confiscated from a traveling circus in Puerto Rico.

Back by popular demand, the West Entrance!  The West Entrance, located on the west side of the large parking lot, is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day for members to enter the Zoo.  The West Entrance is open 10-4 daily and will close during inclement weather.

Adopt an Animal
By symbolically "adopting" an animal at the Detroit Zoo through the WildLife Preserver program, you are helping us care for that animal.
