Becoming a Detroit Zoological Society member has never been easier!

1. Now you can renew/join online at our secure site.
2. You can take advantage of your member benefits immediately. (You will receive a confirmation email that will serve as a temporary card until you receive your permanent cards in the mail.)
3. Gift memberships can also be purchased and sent directly to the recipient.

Special Offer to Residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties
Residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties receive $10 off every membership category, not including the nanny / caregiver catagories.  (This discount cannot be combined with any other offer effective 10/1/08.)

Residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb county can purchase up to four gift memberships at the discounted rate.

Named Nanny/Caregiver add-on ($25)
This Membership will allow one named person to accompany your children /grandchildren to the Zoo in your absence. Nanny/Caregiver Membership must be purchased in conjunction with Family, Grandparent, Single Parent or Supporter Membership. No tri-county discount.

The tri-county discount is not retroactive and is only valid after zip code verification.

In order in ensure the security of your visit to the Detroit Zoo, we will be asking for your children’s names, birth years and genders. For your family’s safety, we will only add your children’s names to your membership card.
