  Storytelling, artwork, movement, and visits to some of the Zoo's favorite residents make these programs a fantastic start to a lifetime of Celebrating and Saving Wildlife!

zoo_tots.pngZoo Tots
Bring a favorite adult (parent, grandparent, babysitter, etc.) for a zooper time! Class meets weekly for 8 sessions on a weekday or Saturdays. Each session focuses on a specific classification of animal and includes a story, interactive experience and craft activity. Programs are designed for 2-3 year olds and an adult caregiver. Program cost is $70 per member pair, $80 per non-member pair. Each session is 10:45-11:30 a.m.
Dates:Thursdays, Feb. 5-March 26     Saturdays, Feb. 7-March 28
          Wednesdays, April 15-June 3   Saturdays, April 18-June 6
          Thursdays, Sept. 17–Nov. 5     Saturdays, Sept. 19-Nov. 7

zoo_tot_crafting.jpgZoo Tots II
Join us for more zooper times with Zoo Tots II! Each week will feature a different ecosystem and the animals that live there. Programs will include a story, a tour of the animals’ habitats in the Zoo, and a craft activity to take home! Sign up for the six week series and enjoy quality one-on-one time with the special child in your life. Programs are designed for 3-4 year olds and an adult caregiver. Program cost is $50 per member pair, $60 per non-member pair. Each session is 9:00-10:15 a.m. 
Dates: Saturdays, February 14-March 21
          Saturdays, September 26-October 31

Penguins aren't the only birds with fascinating features. Join us to explore the world of birds and the many adaptations they have to help them survive and thrive! Programs are designed for 4-5 year olds. Program cost is $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
Dates: March 14, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
           November 1, 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Super Scaly, not slimy! Visit the Zoo to learn about all kinds of reptiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles, and more! We'll find out how important they are and how they help us out. Programs are designed for 4-5 year olds. Program cost is $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
Dates:  February 7, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
                                                      October 10, 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Leap and creep your way through an amazing adventure at the Detroit Zoo to understand the incredible life of an amphibian! Tour the National Amphibian Conservation Center to find out what you can do to help our friends in trouble! Programs are designed for 4-5 year olds. Program cost is $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
Dates:  March 7, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
                                             November 7, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
