Animals After Dark Overnights

Come to a unique nature experience for youth groups, scouts, and families and explore and discover the zoo in a way very different from most visitors’ experiences. A participant offered the following when asked what his favorite part of the program was, "Viewing the animals. I saw more 'unique' animal behavior in one night than in years of attending the Zoo." Overnight Programs are offered year-round. The 2009 calendar is available below!

Spend the night at the Wildest Place in Town! After an evening of fun activities, your family or community group will spend the night in one of our interpretive studios. More about Animals After Dark.

Come and spend an exciting Zoo Boo overnight at the Detroit Zoo! Dress up in your favorite costume and grab the family for a night you are sure to remember. You’ll experience a staff- led walk through Zoo Boo, a special craft activity, late-night tour through the Zoo and breakfast in the morning at an animal habitat. Participants will arrive at 7 p.m. and stay until 10 a.m. the next morning. Cost is $45 per person, offered Saturday, October 24, 2009. Please call (248) 541-5717 ext. 3800 to register today!
