ROYAL OAK, Mich., June 21, 2012 – The Detroit Zoological Society approved Daniel Little, Anmar K. Sarafa and Lawrence M. Scott for a three-year term on its board of directors at the annual member meeting on June 20, 2012.

Little is chancellor of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.  He also serves as professor of philosophy at UM-Dearborn and as faculty associate at the Institute for Social Research and the Center for Chinese Studies at the University of Michigan.

Sarafa is the founder, president and chief investment officer of Steward Capital Management, Inc., a Bloomfield Hills, Mich., investment firm established in 1988.

Scott is an officer, director and managing shareholder of Sterling Heights, Mich., law firm O'Reilly Rancilio, PC, which he joined in 1999.  He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Florida Bar.
