Jazz Up Your Sunday at the Belle Isle Nature Zoo |

DETROIT, Mich., August 4, 2009 – The Detroit Zoological Society’s concert series, Sunday in the Zoo With..., continues Sunday, August 9, 2009, 2:30 to 4 p.m., at the Belle Isle Nature Zoo. The concert features acclaimed local jazz musicians The Kris Johnson Group.
The concert is free and visitors are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.
The Belle Isle Nature Zoo is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. year-round and provides educational programming with interpretive staff support from the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. Admission is free. For more information, call (313) 852-4056 or visit www.detroitzoo.org.
