A quintet from the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings will perform selections by Bach, Sousa and other classical composers as well as a special presentation of “Animal Ditties”.

The concert will be held in the Main Picnic Grove on the Society’s new mobile stage, donated by Oakland Performing Arts.  Visitors are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.  In addition, food, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from Zoo concessions.

The next concert in the Sunday in the Zoo With… series will take place at the Belle Isle Nature Zoo on August 9, 2009.
