| | Picnic and 'After Hours' Summer Season: Picnic sites can be rented for corporate functions, reunions, and school and scout groups, among others. The picnic site rental fee is $100 for a reserved area in the park (tent rental additional). For large groups, over 1,000, requiring the use of the entire main picnic grove area, the picnic site rental fee is $300 (tent rental additional). Tents can be rented only with a catered event. 'After Hours' can be rented for exclusive use from mid-May through mid-August. The rental time is 6-9 p.m. The $5,000 rental fee includes up to 1,000 guests; over 1,000 would be an additional $6 per person. The base price of $5,000 includes all outdoor exhibits including Arctic Ring of Life, Australian Outback Adventure and Meerkat Digs - plus parking! Meeting Options Wildlife Interpretive Gallery The Nautilus Room can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Half Day (4 hours) $250.00 Full Day (8 hours) $400.00 The Gallery Theatre, with its state-of-the-art A/V capabilities, can accommodate up to 90 people. Rates: $400 1-4 hours $600 5-8 hours Rental times for both locations are: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - April-October 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - November-March. The rental fee includes parking. Education Studios There are four studios: Freezing, Dark, Drippy, Wet . Each single studio seats 36 people; a full studio (Freezing-Dark or Drippy-Wet) accommodates 72 seated.
