Owned by the Natural History Museum in London, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition celebrates the very best of nature photography and photojournalism, using the unique emotive power of photography to inspire wonder and create advocates for the natural world.

The exhibition showcases 100 photographs in a variety of competition categories and features inspiring images that capture nature’s rich diversity. The Detroit Zoo is the first stop in the United States for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year art exhibition, and access to the exhibit is included with your Zoo admission.

This internationally renowned exhibit allows viewers to experience nature in vivid detail. Gaze through the lens expert wildlife photographers to get up close to some of the world’s most extraordinary species, the lives they live and the challenges they face.
