From formal corporate events to casual company picnics, the Detroit Zoo offers truly unique settings where memories are made. Our unique and exotic venues create the perfect backdrop for your meeting. For those looking for something extra, each venue can add optional ameneties and catering menu.
Picnics
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April through OctoberPicnic sites can be rented for large or small corporate functions. Picnic site rental fees are used to fund facilities and programs at the Zoo, including new habitats and educational opportunities for both children and adults.
After Hours - Private Zoo Evening
6 to 9 p.m. May through August
$5,000 rental fee
includes up to 1,000 guests over 1,000 would be an additional $5 per person
The Zoo facilities can be rented for exclusive use from mid-May through mid-August. The rental time is 6-9 p.m. The base price includes all outdoor exhibits including Arctic Ring of Life, Australian Outback Adventure and Meerkat Digs - plus parking! The following buildings, rides and transportation can be included for an additional fee: Wildlife Interpretive Gallery $1,500
National Amphibian Conservation Center $800
3D/4D Theater $2,500
Wild Adventure Ride $1,500
Tauber Family Railroad $250 per hour, per train, two trains available
Guest Tram $100 per hour, per tram, two trams available
