Grevy’s Zebra

In wonderful news for another endangered species in the African Grasslands, Carter says that zookeepers believe one of the three female Grevy’s zebras is pregnant. If they are correct, the new arrival will be a welcome addition to the world population of Grevy’s zebras, which is currently estimated at under 2,100. Look for a foal later this summer as we continue Celebrating and Saving Wildlife.
