Family pride
Lions are the only cats that live in groups (prides). Daughters stay with their mothers for life while males go off to form their own prides.
Lazy lions
Like all large carnivores, lions conserve energy by sleeping. Lions may sleep up to 22 hours a day.

Grasslands and deserts of Africa and one forest in India

Zebras, Antelopes, Birds, and Lizards

Hyenas (cubs) and Humans (adults)
Reproduction
Females have litters of 2 to 4 cubs. Other adult females help care for the young.
Conservation
STABLE
In Africa, populations are stable in national parks and reserves. In Asia, lions are restricted to one national park where they are protected.
