Forests and scrublands of the southwestern United States, Central America, and South America
Wild Diet
Insects, Spiders, Fruits, and Small reptiles
Predators
Jaguars and Large birds of prey
Reproduction
Female coatis live in large social groups, but leave the group to give birth. They rejoin the group when the young are 2 months old. Males are solitary.
Conservation Status
THREATENED
Threatened due to habitat destruction.
