White winter coat
The gray summer coat turns white in winter to enable it to blend in with its environment.
Fluffy tail
Arctic foxes wrap their tail around their body like a comforter on the coldest of nights. They can tolerate temperatures below -50 degrees.

Habitat/Range
Tundra and ice-covered regions of northern Eurasia, North America, Greenland, and Iceland
Wild Diet
Lemmings, Sea birds, Fish, and Invertebrates
Predators
Humans and Polar Bears
Reproduction
A female will give birth to 6 to 12 kits. Until the young learn how to hunt, both parents work very hard providing for them.
