Warm-blooded vertebrate animals, including humans, characterized by a covering of hair on the skin and  milk-producing mammary glands for nourishing the young (in females). Warm-blooded, egg-laying, and feathered  with forelimbs modified to form wings. Cold-blooded aquatic animals having fins, gills, and a streamlined body. Cold-blooded, smooth-skinned animals that characteristically hatches as larva with gills. Adults have air-breathing lungs. Capable of living both on land and in water. Cold-blooded, usually egg-laying animals with scales and breathing with lungs.

Adopt an Animal
 "Adopt" an animal is program that helps the Zoo take care of the animal you select. Your symbollic animal adoption helps provide veterinary treatment, improve exhibits, sponsor educational classes, seminars and research expeditions. More importantly, your assistance makes the Zoo’s participation in the Species Survival Plans possible.
